Cypress Pointe Hospital is gearing up for their second annual CASA volunteer appreciation event on Thursday, December 13th. The event is hosted to thank CASA volunteers for their dedication and commitment to the children they serve and also allows them to pick up Christmas gifts for those children as well. This is the second year a group of friends and supporters of CASA have worked with Cypress to offer this social for the deserving volunteers. CASA is most appreciative for these patrons because there is no funding in the CASA budget to recognize volunteers.
In addition to hosting the event Cypress Pointe Hospital has adopted 15 CASA children to purchase Christmas Presents for this holiday season. “We had such an overwhelming response from our staff last year that we decided to make this an annual event and adopt five more children this year,” said Glenda Dobson, President and CEO of Cypress Pointe Hospital. “One of the most important things to our administrative team and our physician owners is giving back to our community and we couldn’t think of a better way to do it,” Dobson added.
