The beginning of a new year always brings new goals and resolutions. Often times these resolutions are centered on health and wellness. Whether your goal is to lose 20lbs, exercise more often, add fruits and vegetables to your diet, or quit smoking; improving our day-to-day choices may influence whether you maintain vitality as you age or develop life-shortening illnesses and disabling conditions like heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, and stroke.
Dr. Andrew Hargroder, investor and supporter of Cypress Pointe Hospital, believed that all individuals can make positive changes to improve their quality of life and health. For nearly 30 years he devoted his career to helping people overcome the physical and emotional effects of obesity, and provided patients with comprehensive care to ensure that they lose weight safely and effectively.
It is an honor that Cypress Pointe Hospital announces the Dr. Andrew Hargroder Lifestyle Change Award.
In memory of Dr. Hargroder, Cypress Pointe Hospital will continue to encourage our patients and community to live a long and healthy life through positive lifestyle changes.
As the year progresses, we want to recognize individuals in our community that are striving to live healthy, be healthy and promote healthy. The nomination form will be open on our website June 1st – July 31st with a winner chosen and announced on Friday, August 27th.
Winners will receive $500 to Cypress Pointe Hospital’s Ideal Protein Clinic, and a VISA Gift Card.
